About Smiles with Emerson

Our mission is to create possibilities, using innovative resources, to support families of children with Cerebral Palsy. These resources will empower families to advocate for their child’s well-being according to their specific needs. Smiles With Emerson INC. will seek to enhance each child’s life by providing equipment needed to facilitate their ability to ambulate, play, learn and explore their environment.

Smiles With Emerson INC. was created to give to others because of the support young Emerson Slaton and his family received.  Emerson has a captivating smile, hence the name Smiles With Emerson INC. Learning that their son was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, his parents were thrown into a journey filled with many unanswered questions. They reached out to numerous sources, and many were responsive and provided support. It is our desire, through Smiles With Emerson INC. to be a bridge to educate and guide parents and guardians as they seek help for their child. Additionally, we will purchase equipment and offer respite care, as appropriate, to assist families. Our belief is that to whom much is given, much is required.
